What shapes the way someone leads?

Some leadership lessons come from experience. Others are built through consistency, patience, and a willingness to keep learning.

Meet Tamás, the next leader in our Meet the Computacenter Hungary Senior Site Leadership Team series. He joined Computacenter 10 years ago and is now responsible for defining our customer strategy for in-life contracts. Over the years and across four different roles, he's had the opportunity to grow alongside the business while continuing to make a meaningful impact. 🚀

💡 Even after all this time, what keeps him motivated is simple: "I still see plenty of opportunities to contribute and make a difference." Working with international teams is another source of energy, as "the mix of cultures, perspectives and ways of thinking brings a lot of energy into what we do and constantly challenges us to improve." 🤝

🐶🌿 Outside of work, Tamás enjoys dog training and gardening, both of which have shaped his approach to leadership. As he puts it, "trust and leadership are built through consistency and discipline," while gardening reminds him that "good results take time, and there is always something new to learn."

💙 Appreciation of our colleagues isn't just about celebrating milestones, it's about recognising the people behind them.

Throughout the year, we celebrate career milestones in different ways: through our monthly Service Anniversary Celebrations over coffee, by recognising third and fifth work anniversaries, and at our annual Long Service Anniversary Dinner, where colleagues celebrating 10 years and more with Computacenter are joined by members of our Group Executive Team. 🏆

🚴 Great teamwork is built through shared experiences.

Our latest after-work bike tour brought together colleagues from our Budapest office for an afternoon of cycling through the beautiful Dunakanyar. Beyond the kilometres, it was about getting to know each other better, welcoming new faces, and strengthening the connections that support collaboration every day. ☀️🤝

We're already looking forward to the next ride. 💙

As part of our Meet the Computacenter in Hungary Senior Site Leadership Team series, we're getting to know the people behind the roles and exploring what influences the way they lead. 👥

Meet Zsófi, our HR Manager of Computacenter in Hungary. More than six years ago, she joined us as an HR Consultant after switching from a completely different industry.

💙 As Zsófi says, "No two days are the same here. And I wouldn't want it any other way." A big part of that is the team around her: "We support and trust each other, our first-class humor never leaves us." It's this sense of trust, support, and genuine connection that makes leadership meaningful to her. 🤝

🌱 Outside the office, Zsófi is also a certified doula. That experience has shaped how she leads, reminding her to "give people the space to grow in their own way, motivate and accompany them on their personal journey." 🤱

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bringing your child to work also means seeing your workplace through a completely different perspective.

At our recent Bring Your Child to Work Day, we welcomed our colleagues' children for a day full of games, creativity, and discovery, while also giving them a little glimpse into where their parents spend their days. 🎈

And while the children explored our workplace, they also created their own stories about what happens here. One of our favourites came from 5-year-old Marko. 👦
