Half a year after our first visit to the dog shelter Kutyaovi Állatvédő Egyesület in Bicske, last week our Outreach volunteers returned to bring some more food for the doggies, take them for a long walk, and help around the shelter. As a surprise, our Center Head single handedly created a gastro adventure for us, cooking an excellent traditional Hungarian meal for the group of 20 volunteers. There was even a vegan option – because there is more than one way to save animals! :)

There are around half a million stray dogs in Hungary, while shelters are operating at 400% capacity. Support Kutyaovi or your local shelter, and if you can, consider adopting a dog responsibly.

Thanks to our Associates' donations and support, this year Outreach Hungary delivered 341 chocolate eggs to 6 temporary homes before Easter❤️ and spent a cheerful afternoon with children at one of the homes.❣️

✨This year the team also faced with some unforeseen challenge but thanks to our hero colleagues every child received what the bunny had brought to them. 🥰
