About the job
--
Designers take the lead in consulting and guiding clients through complex issues. The information you collect through research will be used by stakeholders to make strategic product decisions. You will be observant to details while maintaining awareness of higher-level goals. You will also incorporate sound logic in your recommendations and deliver them with care and sensitivity to stakeholders.
Many of our projects involve user interface design work. You will understand design requirements and be directly involved in or managing the implementation of design solutions. You will also incorporate checks to ensure that the design deliverables fulfil or exceed acceptance criteria.
Internally, you will collaborate with developers and project managers as one highly cohesive, functional and competent unit to implement solutions on time and budget. You contribute domain expertise to your peers to help the team deliver successful projects.
As a designer situated in a complex and ever-changing world, you will go through the continuous process of learning and unlearning to adapt and to grow. You will develop your learning path with strong support, guidance and mentorship from your manager.
In public, you are encouraged to find opportunities to connect with the design community to contribute and learn from others, as well as to offer your expertise to social causes and the public good. The community activities of the design team help to keep the team informed about trends, broader conversations and developing a more holistic perspective of the design industry.
