Meet our new cohort of Smart Nation scholars! 🎉

We are proud to welcome 10 new scholars to GovTech Singapore under the Smart Nation Scholarship, at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) Family Scholarship Ceremony.

Jointly offered by GovTech Singapore, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore - CSA, and the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore, the scholarship supports individuals who are passionate about shaping Singapore’s digital future.

Across domains such as cybersecurity, digital government, digital infrastructure and emerging technology, our scholars will have opportunities to deepen their expertise, learn across agencies and grow into technology leaders who use tech for public good.

We look forward to seeing the ideas, energy and impact they will bring to the GovTech community.

Have you been offered cash or a supposedly discounted deal in exchange for access to your Singpass account?

Never sell or share access to your Singpass account or credentials with anyone. Doing so can expose you to fraud and may have serious legal consequences.

In a recent case, individuals were allegedly offered cash and told their Singpass accounts would be used to purchase discounted NDP tickets. The compromised accounts were subsequently used to apply for telco and financial accounts without the account holders’ knowledge.

As AI continues to reshape the way we live and work, building AI literacy has never been more important.

Last Saturday, our GovTechies teamed up with National Youth Council Singapore to host an immersive AI workshop for youths. From researching with AI to having a practical, hands-on session vibe-coding a website of their own, the youths got to walk away feeling more confident and better understanding how technology can enhance creativity, productivity, and problem-solving.

This session is a part of GovTech’s Digital for Good initiative, a CSR programme where GovTechies share their expertise to support others and build a more inclusive digital future for all.
