We’re currently responding to a service outage impacting customers' voice services. Emergency 911 service remains up and active.

Our team is actively investigating the issue and working with those to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

TEC is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Harris to Accounts Payable Manager! Jessica joined TEC in October 1998.

Her hard work, initiative, and focus on advancing her knowledge and experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk have prepared her for her new role. In her new role, Jessica will provide support to the Senior Director of Accounting and Accounting Managers, by overseeing accounts payable operations and helping to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.

As TEC continues to expand, Jessica’s experience and expertise will help deliver in the growth of the company.

🚨 Service Outage Notice – BEP Areas

We’re currently responding to fiber damage impacting portions of our BEP service area. The damage was caused by a suspected attempted theft that affected a section of aerial fiber serving the area.

Our crews have located the damaged fiber and are currently en route to begin repairs.

Estimated repair time: 6-8 hours

Customers in portions of Simpson, Lawrence, and Smith Counties may be experiencing interruptions to voice and internet services.

We appreciate your patience as our crews work to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Updates will be shared as they become available.

UPDATE: Construction is onsite and should be completed within the hour. Splicing will begin immediately after.
