Here’s your friendly reminder from your FASTSIGNS of Blue Ash team: If you’re planning to add exterior vinyl graphics to your windows, doors, or building, NOW is the time to get those orders in!

Why the rush? 🥶 Temperature matters when it comes to installing exterior vinyl!

We aim for temperatures of 50°F or warmer for exterior vinyl installations to help ensure proper adhesion and a long-lasting result. Here’s why that magic number is so important:

❄️ Adhesion Issues: Cold temperatures can make vinyl adhesive less tacky, preventing it from bonding properly to the surface. That can lead to peeling edges and graphics that don't stay put.

❄️ Stiff, Brittle Vinyl: Vinyl becomes less flexible in the cold, making it harder to apply smoothly and increasing the risk of tearing or cracking during installation.

❄️ Moisture Matters: Cold surfaces can develop condensation, even when they look dry. Moisture trapped beneath the vinyl can cause bubbles, lifting, and premature failure.

❄️ Long-Term Performance: When vinyl doesn't adhere properly during installation, it can lead to lifting, bubbling, and other issues down the road. We want your graphics to look great and last!
