Last week a team of runners from our Vienna office took part in the Erste Bank Vienna Night Run, an event focused on making a positive environmental impact.

For every runner that took part, a mangrove tree will be planted through the non-profit blue life. With a focus on scientifically backed CO2 sequestration, the event aims to bind more carbon emissions than it generates.

Last week the Trayport team headed to Madrid to connect with Spanish clients and the broader Iberian energy community. Here are the highlights from the trip:

➡️On Wednesday evening we invited our clients to rooftops drinks, it was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with clients, share product updates and discuss how we can continue to support their trading needs.

➡️While in Madrid we also hosted an autoTRADER masterclass focusing on navigating market volatility. A special thank you to Natasha Fielding from Argus Media for sharing key insights into European natural gas markets ahead of winter.

➡️At the session Werner Zwiegelaar walked through autoTRADER’s core ex*****on algorithms, real-time data inputs, and risk controls. Our guests also had the opportunity to put theory into practice through a real-time trading simulation, running algorithms through high-volatility scenarios.

We’re delighted to announce that Fastmarkets has selected TMX Trayport as its technology partner to underpin Fastmarkets Connect, its digital platform for the physical lithium market.

Fastmarkets Connect is the new name for the digital price discovery and deal initiation proposition announced in June at the Global Lithium, Battery & Critical Materials conference in Las Vegas.

This collaboration brings together Fastmarkets’ lithium market pricing expertise with TMX Trayport’s established commodity trading technology to build trusted digital infrastructure, bringing greater transparency, connectivity, and access to spot liquidity.

⚙️Proven Infrastructure: Brings TMX Trayport's established market technology to the lithium sector to support electronic price discovery and bilateral deal initiation
