Great to engage with businesses across Fife yesterday - thank you to everyone who joined our 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 in Glenrothes.

For some attendees, it was a first introduction to . For others, unfortunately, it came after already experiencing a breach or attack firsthand.
The good news? Prevention is possible.

Next step for businesses who attended: 1-2-1 Cyber Essentials Gap Analysis -identifying exactly where they stand and what's needed to achieve certification.

We're celebrating 20 Years of Gavin at Converged!

Today marks 20 years since Gavin Simpson joined Converged - as employee number one (after Neil Christie).

Back then he was a young loon, joining a very small team and a business that was just getting started.

A lot has changed since those early days. Technology has evolved massively, the cyber threat landscape looks very different, and the business has grown significantly. Through it all, Gavin has been right at the centre of things.

As Technical Manager, Gavin spends his days solving problems for clients, managing projects, troubleshooting complex issues and researching new technologies to bring into our portfolio - helping guide the technical side of the business. More recently he’s even stepped slightly outside his comfort zone, taking part in panel discussions and speaking at our cyber security events.

He’s also responsible for organising some legendary staff poker nights over the years!

Here's to you, Gavin, and thanks for everything you’ve done over the last 20 years, from Neil and everyone at Converged.

Yesterday our Cyber Security Lead Robbie Ross was back at Bucksburn Academy delivering a Digital Safety Awareness talk for S3 pupils.

Building on the momentum of , the session focused on helping pupils understand the risks they can face online and the simple habits that help keep them safer.

Anyone who has met Robbie or heard him speak will know how passionate he is about online safety. He has a natural way of engaging audiences and bringing an important topic to life, especially important for young people growing up with technology as part of everyday life.

Helping people understand how to stay safer online - whether at school, at home or at work - is something we’re proud to support.

Thanks to David Salmond for inviting us back to speak with Bucksburn pupils.
