With over a decade of experience in supply chain procurement and account management in the oil and gas industry, Paul ensures client satisfaction and loyalty. His role involves understanding client needs, meeting expectations, and aligning IT solutions with business objectives.
🔷Tell us a bit about your role at IT Hotdesk. What are your primary responsibilities and areas of expertise?
I joined IT Hotdesk after 10+ years in the oil and gas industry, specifying in supply chain procurement and account management. My primary objective as a client relationship manager is to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by understanding and addressing their needs, ensuring client's expectations are met and that the IT solutions provided by IT Hotdesk contribute positively to the client's business objectives.
🔷When you're not in the office, what are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Music and adventures are my main passions. At the weekend, you will either find me climbing a hill in the middle of nowhere or attending a live concert.
🔷What's your favourite aspect of being part of the IT Hotdesk team?
After a decade in a different industry, I was looking for a new challenge that I could throw myself into. I honestly enjoy the environment at IT Hotdesk; every day is different and continuously educational. I'm surrounded by a close-knit, mixed bag of personalities and it's truly a delight to work at IT Hotdesk (Note: I'm not being forced to say this!)
🔷Share a fun fact or hidden talent that your colleagues might not know about you!
I used to be a local musician, both solo and a handful of bands. I haven't performed live in years, however, I still enjoy writing and creating music in my free time.
🔷If you were stuck on a deserted island with only one piece of tech, what would it be?
Something solar powered, that I could play my favourite songs on.
