Käyttäjäpäivien ohjelma on nyt valmis, ja luvassa on poikkeuksellisen monipuolinen ja ajankohtainen kattaus terveydenhuollon digitalisaation teemoja.

Kahden päivän aikana kuulemme asiakkaidemme käytännön kokemuksia digitaalisten palveluiden hyödyntämisestä, asiantuntijanäkemyksiä vaikuttavuudesta ja kustannusvaikuttavuudesta sekä konkreettisia esimerkkejä integraatioiden ja tiedon hyödyntämisen mahdollisuuksista. Katse on myös tulevaisuudessa: miten tutkimuksella, tiedolla ja uusilla toimintamalleilla voidaan rakentaa entistä vaikuttavampia terveydenhuollon palveluita.

Lavalle nousee upea joukko terveydenhuollon asiantuntijoita muun muassa Pirkanmaan, Kymenlaakson ja Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialueilta, Sydänsairaalasta ja Nordic Healthcare Groupista.

Hoidonohjauksen kehittäminen Kymenlaaksossa jatkuu, nyt monivuotisella sopimuksella 🤝🏼

Kymenlaakson hyvinvointialue ja Buddy Healthcare ovat solmineet uuden monivuotisen sopimuksen hoidonohjauksen kehittämisestä sekä erikoissairaanhoidossa että perusterveydenhuollossa.

Yhteistyöllä on jo vahva perusta: Kymenlaakson hyvinvointialueella on digitalisoitu ja automatisoitu hoidonohjausprosesseja 14 erikoisalalla.

Uudella sopimuskaudella tavoitteena on yhtenäistää hoidonohjauksen toimintamalleja, automatisoida keskeisiä prosesseja, parantaa näkyvyyttä hoitoprosessien etenemisestä sekä rakentaa malli vaikuttavuuden mittaamiseen.

On hienoa jatkaa yhteistyötä ja viedä hoidonohjauksen kehittämistä yhdessä seuraavaan vaiheeseen 💙

We are so happy to have spent the last few days with our new colleagues from VitalHub here in Helsinki!

Following the acquisition announcement in July, it was great to come together in person, get to know each other better, learn more about VitalHub from Mike Sanders and the team, and share ideas about what we can achieve together.

Yesterday, we wrapped up the visit with a lovely team dinner at Salutorget, enjoying tasty Nordic food, great conversations, and plenty of laughs 🙏🏼

A big thank you to the VitalHub team for making the trip to Helsinki. We are excited about what’s ahead and this new chapter together!

How can worsening heart failure be identified before it leads to an emergency department visit or hospital admission?

This is a challenge we have been addressing together with Heart Hospital through the development of the OmaSydän (MyHeart) remote care service.

Last week, we met with Heart Hospital's experts in Tampere to discuss the service's development, clinical objectives, and ongoing evaluation. Our shared goal is to support patient self-management, identify early signs of clinical deterioration, and enable timely intervention when needed by combining Buddy Healthcare's care coordination platform with Heart Hospital's clinical expertise in heart failure care.

Through the remote care service, patients report their daily weight and any changes in their health status. If symptom scoring indicates clinically significant changes, such as a change in weight, worsening dyspnoea, oedema, or declining wellbeing, an alert notification is generated for review by a healthcare professional 📈

We are currently evaluating the impact of the service and look forward to sharing further findings, including its effect on reducing hospital readmissions among patients with heart failure.
