Welcome to the final May edition of “What’s Been Added To Our Big Wall Of New Releases?!?” Lots to cover, so let’s dig right in!

Kicking things off ~ of course! ~ is Sir James Paul McCartney, better known as Paul McCartney, a.k.a. The Cute One, with “The Boys Of Dungeon Lane”, his 20th solo album now spanning a 56 year (solo) career.
“The Boys Of Dungeon Lane” is the almost 84 year old Knight’s follow-up to 2020’s “McCartney III”, with the LP configuration available on Baby Pink vinyl.

Next up is the final release from The Alarm. Recorded during the last six months of frontman Mike Peters’ life.
The LP for “Transformation” is pressed on sea green vinyl.

After a three year absence, Keanu Reeves and Dogstar are back with their fourth album (in 30 years), “All In Now.”
“All In Now” is pressed on red marble vinyl.

Up next is Nashville-based rock band All Them Witches. “House Of Mirrors” is their seventh studio effort to date, and first since 2020’s “Nothing As The Ideal.”
“House Of Mirrors” is pressed on striking red leopard print vinyl.

American indie rock band Guided By Voices are busy little bees, releasing 13 albums since 2020 alone!
That includes two in 2025 (“Universe Room” and “Thick Rich and Delicious”) and now the new “Crawlspace Of the Pantheon.”

The next generation continues to make their mark, this week it being Violet Grohl, eldest daughter of Dave, who drops her debut release “Be Sweet To Me.”

The Gipsy Kings are closing in on their 50th anniversary, and in honor of that milestone, they are serving up “Historia”, their first new release in eight years. The LP for “Historia” is pressed on gorgeous blue & white marble vinyl.

Country music was extremely well represented today, starting with Willie Nelson’s 79th solo studio effort, “Dream Chaser.”
Also dropping were Kip Moore’s “Reason To Believe” and “True South” from Rodney Atkins.

Jacksonville, Florida’s very own Shinedown offer up their eighth release (and first in six years), appropriately titled “ei8Ht.”

Finally, Smashing Pumpkins debut effort, 1991’s “Gish”, has been reissued on Gray with Pink & Purple Splatter vinyl...VERY cool!

And there you have it for May! See you next week, when we kick off June with a bang!

The sprawling collection is spread over 2 CDs and 4 LPs (pressed on red vinyl)....if you’re interested in the vinyl configuration, grab it while it’s in stock ~ we won’t be carrying this on a regular basis in the future!

Up next is American bluegrass ensemble Steep Canyon Rangers, who offer up “Next Act”, their eighteenth release in a career that is now well in to it’s third decade.
A favorite of Steve Martin’s ~ he actually co-founded the group ~ the band has won a number of Grammys, both with Martin and solo.
The LP is pressed on maroon vinyl.

Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers drop their sixth studio effort, “Everyone For Ten Minutes”, the follow-up to 2024’s “A Stranger Desired.”

Welcome to this week’s (slightly tardy!) edition of “What’s Been Added To Our Big Wall Of New Releases?!?” Let’s dig right in!

Kicking things off is Peter Frampton and “Carry The Light.” “Carry The Light” is Peyer’s first solo release in five years, following 2021’s “Frampton Forgets The Words.” Even more astonishing? Next year marks the 55th anniversary of his first solo release!
Guests on the set include Sheryl Crow, Graham Nash, H.E.R., Benmont Tench and Tom Morello.
The LP configuration is pressed on Yellow vinyl.

Up next is multi-genre-hopping guitarist Ryan Bingham. Over the course of his (now) Seven studio albums, Ryan has stuck his musical toe in to everything from the Country pond to the roots rock swamp......a true Americana Kingpin!
“They Call Us The Lucky Ones” is the follow-up to 2019’s “American Love Song”, with the LP pressed on stunning Electric Smoke vinyl.

Surfer turned filmmaker returns after a four year absence with “SURFILMUSIC”, the soundtrack to his autobiographical documentary of the same name.

Also returning after a six year absence is reggae royalty Ziggy Marley. Ziggy, who has been concentrating on acting and voice-over work, drops “Brightside”, his first studio effort since 2020’s “More Family Time.”

Continuing in the Reggae vein, Shaggy offers up hi 15th studio effort (and first since 2022’s “.Com Fly Wid Mi”), “Lottery.”

Another artist with strong parental ties in the industry debuting this week is Teddy Thompson. The son of Richard and Linda Thompson, Teddy has built a strong following in the Folk/ folk rock/alt-Country/Americana market over the last 25+ years, and advance word is that “Never Be The Same” is just going to add to said following.
The LP is available on the IEX Exclusive red vinyl.

Another up-and-comer on the Americana scene, Shakey Graves, drops his fifth album in 15 years, and first in three years. “Fondness, Etc.” is the follow-up to 2023’s “Movie of the Week.”

Rostam, who was a founding member of Vampire Weekend, and produced their first three albums, has also pursued a solo career, with the new “American Stories” being his third solo studio effort.
“American Stories” LP is pressed on gorgeous Coriander vinyl.

Finally, the LP for Suzi Quatro’s latest “Freedom” is FINALLY in stock, joining the CD (both standard and Deluxe).

That’s it for now! See you next week!
