The month of July brought one intense competition - a Mario Kart tournament.

Each Thursday in the month our team members got together and raced with the speed increasing each week. Our top three players breaked for bananas, dodged shells and drifted their way into first, second and third place.

Congratulations!

Connecting physical assets to the cloud brought real estate into the digital age. What comes next will be defined by how we turn that data into real-world action.

SmartRent powers an unmatched IoT footprint in rental housing, with over 4 million installed devices, 911,000 IoT units and 770,000 monthly active resident users. That real-world scale generates millions of operational data points every single day.

Today, we are setting the stage for the next chapter of property technology by announcing a multi-year initiative with Databricks to integrate the Databricks Data + AI Platform as the foundational engine for SmartRent's enterprise data architecture.

By bringing advanced data infrastructure and governance to our live footprint, we are laying the groundwork to turn real-world scale into direct operator value across several strategic areas, including:

- Scalable Operational Intelligence: Enhancing platform capability to help property operators streamline workflows, mitigate physical operational risk and maximize net operating income across their portfolios.

- Enterprise Governance & Portfolio Visibility: Establishing a unified, highly secure data foundation that delivers clear, enterprise-wide visibility and actionable real estate insights to key stakeholders.

Over the coming quarters, we look forward to sharing how this modern data architecture will redefine what’s possible in rental housing.
