In-office spaces, the background noise level is generally low. Hence, people unintentionally overhear conversations – a difficult situation for all concerned. It's important to keep both your employees and your visitors privacy, private! In order to do so, look into sound masking.

Sound masking is done with a speaker system wired through your building which plays a low, not very noticeable, sound. This noise makes it more difficult for people to end up accidentally hearing conversations that they aren't already a part of. However, it is not going to be loud or distracting so as to keep people away from their actual tasks.
