A little hands-on experience can open up a whole new world.

We’re wrapping up the week with a video recap of yesterday’s first Junior Trailhead program, where students explored the live events industry and tried the gear and roles that bring a show to life.

From cameras and lighting to conversations about careers, the day gave students a chance to see where their creativity could take them.

Thank you to Elevate Orlando, Chapman Leonard, Tylerlight, AFPC, Valencia College, and AV Strategy for helping make it happen. And to our Evolve team, with every department pitching in on setup, instruction, and breakdown, thank you for putting in the work to give these students a strong first step.

The next generation has to start somewhere. We’re proud to help open the door.

The next generation got their hands on the controls today.

Our first Junior Trailhead program gave students a chance to explore the live events industry, try different production roles, and meet the people who help bring shows to life.

Sometimes, discovering your path starts with getting a chance to try something new.

A huge thank-you to our partners:

ELEVATE Orlando, for organizing and bringing the students through their program.

Chapman Leonard, for providing the studio space, a hands-on camera dolly experience, and insight into how film and live events connect.

Tylerlight, for providing lighting and teaching students how it’s used in live events.
