🖤 SADONNA, GET INTO THE GLOOM...

I had the utmost pleasure of catching extraordinary performance artist and dancer Miguel Gutierrez and his SADONNA project's World Drowned Tour at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park - and what an incredible experience it was.

SADONNA is exactly what it sounds like: Madonna classics transformed into gorgeously somber, slowed-down heartbreakers, with Miguel backed by his brilliantly named Slutinos. 😂 The project takes Madonna’s pop anthems and exposes all the vulnerability hiding underneath.

I first saw Miguel perform many, many years ago at Dance Theater Workshop in NYC, where he did a deconstructed version of Madonna’s “Physical Attraction” in his tighty-whities. Needless to say, I was FOREVER PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED. 😂

If you don’t know Miguel or his SADONNA project, don’t just stand there, let’s get to it… Hit the Googles and enjoy. You can thank your Lucky Star later. ⭐️

⚡️🧟‍♂️ IT’S TIME TO DO THE TRANSYLVANIA MANIA!

Because apparently I don’t have enough going on, I’m spending my fall getting FRANKENSTEINED! ⚡️ I’m thrilled to be in the cast of Young Frankenstein at the Phoenicia Playhouse this October (10/9-10/25)!

The monstrously funny musical by Mel Brooks is based on his classic film starring Gene Wilder... And I’ll be playing the infamous Inspector Kemp. 🧐🦾

Between rehearsals, learning lines and raising the occasional co**se, I’ll be working my fingers TO THE BONE. 💀 But I’ll stop at NOGHT to get my monster on!

Dark speakeasy meets vintage cruise ship, with just the right amount of moody red glow. I’m ALL about a moody interior. 🔥

I guess you could say I’m totally on BOARD with this look. 🚢

Even though this little guy is working at the demolition site of one of my favorite local diners 😢, he completely stole my heart.

I didn’t even know what he was... I had to look him up. Meet my new bestie, Mr. BOMAG, a remote-controlled compactor designed to compact soil and, clearly, an early descendant of R2-D2. 😂

I mean… LOOK AT HIM. Beep. Boop. 🤖💛

Did you know I have a degree in Architecture?

For years, I thought not mastering AutoCAD meant I'd failed in my chosen career. Looking back, I couldn't have been more wrong.

Architecture taught me how to think, solve problems, communicate ideas and adapt to new technology. Those skills have become the foundation of my work in digital marketing, where I now help architects, artists, nonprofits and small businesses tell their stories online.

Sometimes the path you planned isn't the one you're meant to take... But the journey still prepares you for exactly where you're supposed to be.

I just had a Cinna'gasm. 🤤🥮

Good Friend Café & Market - A brand-new café and market quietly opened near me in West Shokan on Route 28A, just down the road from the Ashokan Reservoir. They don't even have a website or a social handle yet, so consider this one of the Catskills' best-kept secrets.

Owned by a former NYC video editor and his wife, they opened last month to rave reviews. I had the chef's special egg sandwich and one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten. Seriously... Incredible.

And then there's Buddy's Snack Shop - a tiny closet-sized candy shop tucked into the front porch, stocked with chips, candy, ice cream and tinsel. Basically my dream store. 😂
