✅ The truth? In most cases, academic and athletic aid can be combined, and many programs do this to help athletes get more financial support.

📩 Make yourself eligible. Keeping your grades up and test scores strong can open the door to valuable academic scholarships, which can be stacked with athletic aid to reduce your overall cost of attendance.

Are you a rising junior student-athlete with D1 or D2 goals?

Every step in the NCAA Eligibility Center process is simple on its own: register, create your NCAA Certification Account, send transcripts, and check whether your target schools still want test scores. None of it takes long by itself, but the timing is what trips people up. ⏰

Your high school counselor sends your transcripts, not you, so ask early. If your target schools still require test scores, get a testing plan on the calendar now instead of scrambling in the spring.

"Coaches stop watching once you commit."

Just because you've committed doesn't mean coaches move on. College coaches keep tabs on film, grades, and effort all the way through senior year, making sure the player they offered is still the player showing up. 📈

"Recruiting slows down once school starts."

✅ Just because coaches are busy with their own games and practices doesn't mean recruiting halts. Evaluations, roster spots, and film reviews are still getting sorted out this fall, whether or not it feels quiet from where you're standing.

🎯 Don't save your best updates for the offseason. Log new stats as they happen and post your video as you get it, so there's always something fresh for a coach to find.
