The velvet rope just got tighter. Amazon’s new Prime Day creator tiers (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) mean early deal access is officially exclusive to the top tier this year.
But here’s the truth: you don’t need early deal lists or sample priority to have your highest-earning Prime Day yet.
While everyone else is panic-refreshing their inbox or begging for samples, smart creators are leaning into a process-driven strategy. The top strategists aren’t chasing the hype; they are relying on workflow, off-site traffic, and data.

Amazon tracks where your traffic is coming from. If you’re driving sales from unlisted or unapproved sites, you risk policy issues that can affect your account status. If you’re using social media, landing pages, or storefronts to share Amazon affiliate links, make sure those platforms are registered and approved inside your Amazon Associates account.
Before you scale your content strategy:
✔ Add all social media pages
✔ Register any landing pages or link hubs
✔ Keep your approved sites updated inside your Associates dashboard
It’s a simple step that protects your account while you focus on growing your earnings.

Not all video traffic on Amazon works the way people assume. If a brand hasn’t uploaded a product video, the upper video carousel often doesn’t activate even when influencer content exists for that ASIN.
Key takeaway: placement isn’t always about content quality, it’s often about whether the brand has “unlocked” the upper video surface. Understanding this helps you evaluate performance more accurately as an influencer or affiliate.

One thing Logie uncovered after analyzing a ton of Amazon video data. Amazon seems to treat its video carousels differently.
The lower carousel appears to be where Amazon tests new videos, while the upper carousel is where higher-converting videos get promoted. If your video reaches the top carousel, it may be a sign that your content is performing well.
Have you noticed your videos moving between carousels? Drop your experience in the comments 👇

Your workflow doesn’t need to be perfect.
It just needs to answer:
• How are you getting products?
• How are you filming content?
• Editing?
• Uploading?
• Posting off-site content?
Prime Day is coming fast now’s the time to build a system that can actually handle growth.
And if you want a deeper breakdown on how to prepare for Prime Day, optimize your workflow, and stay consistent, check out our blog for the full guide.

The rules changed. Not everyone got the memo.
Amazon cut commissions. Halo earnings dried up. Algorithms got smarter and less forgiving. A lot of creators who were coasting on passive income watched their revenue quietly collapse and wondered what happened.
But here’s what’s wild: some creators are having their biggest months ever. Same platform. Same cuts. Completely different results. So what separates them?
It’s not a viral moment. It’s not a lucky product pick. It’s not even follower count. It’s the decision to operate like a business instead of a hobby.
The creators winning right now are posting 30–40+ videos a month. They’re batching their content so they’re never scrambling. They’re building libraries of evergreen reviews that keep earning long after upload day. They’re reaching back out to brands not just waiting to be noticed pitching new ideas, staying top of mind, turning one campaign into an ongoing relationship.
They stopped throwing spaghetti at the wall and started building systems. And the difference is everything.
Because here’s the truth: consistency compounds faster than talent when platforms get unpredictable. Every video is another shot at discovery. Another chance to catch a trending product, a seasonal spike, a new audience. Volume and quality not one or the other.
The era of passive affiliate income is fading. What’s replacing it is something more durable: creators who run their content like a media business. With workflows. With planning. With real partnerships built on trust, not just transactions.
That’s the actual moat now. Not your follower count. Not your niche. Not your equipment.
It’s your consistency. Your systems. Your reputation with brands over time.
If you’ve been feeling the squeeze lately, take a breath. The opportunity is still there. It just looks different now.
The question is: are you building something that lasts, or waiting for the old version of this to come back?
It’s not coming back. But what’s ahead is better if you’re willing to show up for it.

We wrote it all up on the blog. Link in bio. Go read it.
