200 books. One small way to help Ukrainian stories keep moving forward.
Miratech was founded in Ukraine 37 years ago, and supporting the country and its people continues to be an important part of who we are.
This year, we purchased 200 books from Ukrainian publishers and booksellers as part of an initiative supporting an industry operating under extraordinarily difficult conditions.
Russian attacks have damaged publishing facilities, warehouses, bookstores, and distribution infrastructure across Ukraine. Yet Ukrainian publishers continue to print, distribute, and protect the stories and voices that are an essential part of the country’s culture.
Bringing together 200 books was not straightforward. With stock and logistics disrupted, our team worked across different sources in Ukraine to find and purchase them. The books have now travelled from Ukraine to Warsaw, where they will be shared with Miratech colleagues from around the world.
It is a practical gesture, but one that reflects something important to us: supporting Ukraine also means supporting the people, businesses, ideas, and culture that continue to move the country forward.
A special thank you to Olga Skydan, Oryna Kibets, and all the teams involved in bringing this initiative to life. From the idea itself to sourcing the books in Ukraine and getting them to Warsaw, this project was made possible by the care and effort of many people across Miratech.
And now, 200 Ukrainian books are heading out into the world with new readers.
