We’re pleased to be featured in Issue #46 – Predator: Badlands!

Perception created 100+ VFX shots for Predator: Badlands, designing immersive, particle-driven Predator tech alongside clean, efficient Weyland-Yutani interfaces. Predator graphics constantly evolve, forming planets, creatures, and information, while Weyland-Yutani systems remain structured, with occasional glitches hinting at corrupted data. From holographic spaceship displays to lab interfaces, our visuals bring the film’s advanced technology to life.

Huge thanks to Ian Failes and everyone involved in building the world of Predator: Badlands.

Detroit’s own crime-fighter has officially taken his place in the Motor City. After nearly 15 years of effort and fan support, an 11-foot, 3,500-pound bronze RoboCop statue now stands in Eastern Market — a tribute to one of cinema’s most enduring characters.

Stories like this, where imagination and cultural legacy meet, always resonate with us. Our team had the opportunity to design the futuristic tech and in-film interfaces for the RoboCop reboot, helping visualize Detroit 2028 with HUDs, large-screen graphics, and broadcast elements.

A fun reminder of how film design can influence how we think about cities, technology, and heroes. Explore our RoboCop case study on our site💡

We’re thrilled and deeply honored that our work on the prologue sequence for Sinners will soon be on display at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. The sequence demanded an intimate, handcrafted approach—reflecting the gritty 1930s world of the film.

Drawing on extensive historical and cultural research, we collaborated with linocut illustrator Mike Black to explore real textures and materials, which we then translated into a fully digital sequence that captures the tactile, grounded feel of the world of Sinners.

The hunt is on — Predator: Badlands is in theaters everywhere today!

Our team at Perception crafted 100+ VFX shots, from living, particle-driven Predator tech to sleek, utilitarian Weyland-Yutani interfaces.

Proud to help bring this universe to life and huge thanks to everyone who made it happen. Catch it on the big screen!

Our title sequence for Fantastic Four: First Steps unfolds through grids of images, with moving squares and dynamic layouts inspired by the split screen title design of the 1960s. Typography becomes a storytelling tool as extended letterforms guide the viewer’s eye through a continuous visual rhythm of photographs, illustrations, and design elements.

To make this world feel alive, we designed original in-world artifacts— magazine covers, collectible cards, lunch boxes, even a commemorative Galactus plaque— blended with Marvel-provided assets, behind-the-scenes footage, and props to create a truly lived-in world.
