Hi friends 🤍

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here. Life asked me to slow down these past few months as I navigated the loss of my mom last summer in June, and everything in my world paused. I stepped away from work, creativity, and social media to grieve, process, and take care of my heart.

Now, I’m slowly finding my rhythm again—creating, designing, and returning to what I love with a softer, more intentional mindset.

As I ease back in, I wanted to share something especially close to my heart: a quote my mom used to tell me when I was younger—something she would repeat whenever I felt doubtful, down, or unsure of myself.

It’s a line I’ve carried with me since childhood, from one of my favorite worlds when I was a kid, Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne.

And it’s something that has stayed with me through so many quiet moments—something that feels even more meaningful to hold onto now.

Long overdue, but excited to share the mood board and color palette design for Sunset in San Antonio—a brand rooted in curiosity, culture, and the colorful spirit of the Alamo City.

Founded by archaeologist-turned-storyteller Laura, this creative brand and content platform explores San Antonio through a vibrant lens—uncovering historic missions, hidden architectural gems, bold street art, and beloved local spots that tell the city’s story.

The brand color palette reflects the soul of the city: teal skies above Mission San José, magenta from blooming bougainvillea, lime green from park trails, and warm neutrals that echo adobe walls and golden-hour walks along the Riverwalk.

Every branding and design detail is carefully chosen to inspire curiosity, spark exploration, and celebrate the eclectic beauty of San Antonio. This brand identity design is a visual love letter to the city—one that invites you to look deeper, wander further, and fall in love with the layers of history and culture around every corner.
