Aptora just celebrated its 25th year in business! We still have the very same owner that founded the company back in 1995. James Leichter is a life-long contractor who started the company to improve the lives of contractors. Because Aptora is independently owned and operated, we are not pushed around by greedy investors. What happens when a company is propped up by rich venture capitalists? Well, eventually those VCs want their money back along with a humongous return. Too often, the best way to do that is to dominate the market, buy up or force out competitors, jack up prices, stop specializing, go public, and run with the money. You can count on us to be here for the long run. Our motivation is to help you be great.
