Sometimes the value of a technology becomes clearest when something does not go according to plan.

We recently supplied 12 Amino media players for a university Xibo deployment. The players arrived without the Xibo application installed, creating a choice: return the devices, configure each one manually or find another solution.

With assistance from Amino, Orchestrate was used to deploy Xibo to all 12 players remotely.

The experience demonstrated something important: a digital-signage deployment involves more than managing content. Organizations also need a practical way to provision, update and support the media players delivering it.
