Yesterday a PS3 PHAT rolled into the shop showing the dreaded triple‑beep with the RLOD — the Red Light of Death.
A failure that sends most places scrambling for guesses.
For us, it’s the start of the investigation. ⚡

🔥🕛 ANOTHER NIGHT BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL AT STATTECH 🕛🔥

This case came in last night after another local repair shop told the customer the one phrase we don’t use around here:
“It wasn’t fixable.”

After a hard fall crushed their phone, we opened it up and immediately saw the damage — and it wasn’t pretty.
Severe board trauma.
Obvious separation of the BGA sandwich.
A device hanging on by sheer luck.

But the customer urgently needs their data, so the team locked in for an overnight data‑recovery mission.
Microscopes on. Steady hands. Zero margin for error.

Through the night, we finished separating the board layers and are now preparing for a full BGA reball to restore functionality.
High‑risk. High‑precision. One wrong move and this board is gone forever —
exactly the kind of challenge we love.

Right outside the soon‑to‑open Galleria Bakery, a brand‑new NYC‑inspired seating area is rising. Picture the energy of a city‑street café: bistro lights overhead, accent spotlights warming the space, and that unmistakable urban glow that makes you feel like you’ve stepped onto a New York block.

And for those who remember when the fountain platform was a stage — it’s coming back. The South Wing is getting a fully refreshed performance space, ready to bring music, events, and life back to the fountain once again.

This transformation is the result of a coordinated effort by the Galleria team and multiple stores you already love — all working together to bring a new experience to the mall.

I sincerely apologize for the sporadic hours this week. We’ve been handling a high volume of on‑site service, and with our full‑time employee out due to unexpected medical issues, it has been extremely difficult to maintain our normal store hours.
