📣We've got a call to action for all of our friends and patrons! Now is the time to prove that Better Sound has the absolute BEST friends around by voting for us in the upcoming Johnstown Magazine's Best of Johnstown! We have been finalists the past two years and those votes were greatly appreciated. But, with everyone's help, we can make this year the BEST year ever and replace our Finalist certificates with a winner's plaque! Please vote for Better Sound in the "Favorite Place to Buy Music" and "Best Kept Secret" categories. Also, at the very end where you can write in your own suggested category, please write in Better Sound as your favorite "Electronics Store". You all have been the biggest and BEST part of this business for all of the decades that we've been around, so this would be a win for all of us together. The crew and I did some representing for Better Sound at Steel City Con on Sunday. While we were there I got to meet one of my childhood heroes and had him autograph the top grail of my record collection. Mr. Yankovic taught me long ago that it is okay to be a little weird. 😁

To all of our present and future friends and patrons. We are currently in need of and paying cash for laptops and desktop computers to help fulfill the needs of the rising number of people working from home and schooling from home during the statewide stay-at-home orders. We are also in need of TVs of any size. The computers would need to be from the Windows 7 era or newer, but do not need to work properly, as we are able to repair them if necessary. We are still open, buying & selling our normal range of products, and doing customer computer repair and restoration on a daily basis as well. UPDATE: Governor Wolf's office has granted us permission to remain open, because we provide the community with goods and services that allow people to work from home and help people to stay at home during this crisis. So, from 12 to 7 Mon-Sat we will be open and providing personalized service to try to help people get what they need. We have the peripherals & accessories needed for home offices and our computer repair service is fast & inexpensive. We also have a vast array of home entertainment items in stock and we are still performing guitar repair, maintenance & restringing. Our door is open for walk-ins, but we ask that you please try to call ahead to make sure that we are able to help you with what you need. Curb service is also available.
