EMPACT™, our Experience Management Platform for Advanced Conditioning and Training, is an enterprise-ready virtual reality training platform that enables near-realistic, fully immersive training scenarios for employee effectiveness and crisis training. EMPACT allows us to efficiently replicate physical environments, such as schools, hospitals, offices, stadiums and public spaces, in a virtual space and dynamically overlay expert-based training scenarios, such as an active shooter, medical emergency or fire safety situation. The combination of these virtual environments and expert scenarios allow for highly-effective, in-theater crisis training without disrupting your business operations. HTX Labs is a software company based in Houston Texas, founded by seasoned entrepreneurs, creative technologists and ardent philosophers who are dedicated to the responsible and effective application of mixed reality technologies in our workplaces and communities.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #07: No Headset Required.

Mission readiness shouldn’t depend on access to a specific piece of hardware.
EMPACT® delivers mission knowledge and readiness capabilities across VR/XR, desktop, laptop, and tablet, allowing Warfighters to access the experience that makes sense for the task and operating environment.

That could mean immersive practice in VR, a quick refresher on a laptop, or mission information on a tablet closer to the point of need.

Because the technology should adapt to the mission, not the other way around.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #06: Vendor Agnostic by Design.

Mission requirements should determine the tools and content used—not vendor limitations.

EMPACT® can bring together government-owned, EMPACT, and third-party content from multiple providers within a common readiness environment. Organizations can use the capabilities that best fit the mission while preserving the investments they’ve already made.

For Warfighters, that means access to the right content and capabilities for the task, regardless of who created them.

Because mission readiness shouldn’t be locked to a single vendor. It should be built around the mission.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #05: Your Content. One Readiness System.

Mission-critical content shouldn’t become harder to use just because it was created by different teams, vendors, or systems.

EMPACT® provides a Digital Asset Repository (DAR) that can house and manage EMPACT, government-owned, and third-party digital content, bringing existing investments together in one readiness environment without locking organizations into a single content source.

For Warfighters, that means less time searching across disconnected systems and more consistent access to the content needed to train, prepare, and execute.
Because the content already built for the mission should be working together.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #04: Training Meets Ex*****on.

Training shouldn’t exist in a vacuum. The knowledge used to prepare for the mission should be available when it’s time to perform it.

EMPACT® extends mission knowledge beyond the training environment with guided workflows that support real-world mission tasks at the point of need, helping Warfighters apply what they’ve learned when and where it matters.

From learning the procedure to performing it in the operational environment, EMPACT helps connect preparation to ex*****on.

Because readiness isn’t just knowing how to do the task. It’s being able to execute when the mission calls for it.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #03: Train to the Task. Knowing a procedure is one thing. Being ready to execute it is another.

EMPACT® delivers task-based training tied to real mission requirements, giving Warfighters opportunities to build, practice, and validate proficiency before those skills are needed in the operational environment.

That means training can focus on the tasks that matter, building confidence and proficiency while reducing reliance on limited aircraft, equipment, or other mission-critical assets.

Because mission readiness isn’t measured by completing training. It’s measured by being prepared to perform the task when it counts.

⚡EMPACT Fast Fact #02: Mission Knowledge, Mission Ready. Mission readiness starts with access to the right information at the right time.

When technical data, procedures, and mission-critical content live across disconnected systems, or outdated versions remain in circulation, it creates unnecessary friction for Warfighters preparing for and executing the mission.

EMPACT® centralizes and governs mission knowledge so the same authoritative information can support training, proficiency development, and guided ex*****on.

Because Warfighters shouldn’t have to question whether they’re training from, or executing with, the latest information.

Introducing EMPACT Fast Facts ⚡

We’re breaking down how EMPACT® connects the pieces of mission readiness, from knowledge and training to ex*****on, performance, and continuous improvement.

Fast Fact #01: Readiness isn’t a collection of disconnected activities. It’s a cycle.

For Warfighters, readiness doesn’t end when training is complete. Procedures change. Equipment evolves. Lessons are learned during ex*****on. Those lessons need to make their way back into how personnel prepare for the next mission.

EMPACT connects mission knowledge → training → competence → ex*****on → performance capture → continuous improvement so lessons learned don’t stop with one person, course, or mission.

The result: a force that can learn, adapt, and improve readiness continuously.
