Yesterday, our team worked with Ganondagan to bring Educators Day 2026 online for everyone joining remotely.

For more than four hours, we combined two camera angles, presentation content, and a direct feed of the room audio into one branded Zoom program. The virtual audience could follow everything happening in the room and submit questions throughout the day.

There were a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes, and our team did a great job keeping everything running from start to finish. Here are a few pictures from our production position during the show.

We spent Saturday morning setting up for a two-camera livestream on Monday, and everything is now in place. Both camera angles are set, the spare laptops and iPads are charging, and all that’s left is to come back tomorrow morning and go live.

Here’s a little Sunday sneak peek behind the curtain.

Today we tried something a little different.

U-shaped meetings are incredibly common because they're one of the best room layouts for discussion and engagement.

One of the challenges, though, is that as the room gets larger, the attendees at the opposite end of the U can quickly end up 30 feet or more from the main presentation screen.

The usual answer for meetings like this is to use a bigger screen, but that isn't always possible, and it isn't always the best solution.

So today we tested a solution that's common at much larger executive meetings and adapted it for the types of meetings we support every day.

We added two floor monitors farther down the room to bring the presentation closer to the attendees, along with centerline power distribution throughout the U to provide convenient access to power during the meeting.

This isn't an official package yet. We wanted to test it on a real event, see how it worked, get feedback from both the client and the hotel, and figure out what we'd change before officially rolling it out.

We're already planning Version 2 before the meeting even starts.

The next version will replace the centerline power with clamp-on power stations at each table, each with five AC outlets, two USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports. We're also planning to move from two floor monitors to three, with one facing each side of the U and a third facing the back row so every attendee has a nearby monitor in front of them instead of looking the length of the room to read the presentation.

Today’s setup for the CareValue Health + Wealth Expo.

Four rounds of breakout sessions across three rooms before transitioning into a combined general session for the keynote.

We also had digital signage displaying the session schedule throughout the day. It was nice seeing attendees actually using it to find their next session.

A few photos from today’s conference.

Setting up today for a conference tomorrow!

This is another conference with a change over from breakouts into a general session at lunch.

While this recognition was presented to me on behalf of NXT Level Audio Visual, it truly represents the work of an incredible team, without whom this event would not have been possible.

Paul - General Session Lead Technician
Larry - General Session Audio Engineer
Danielle - Breakout Technician
Henrik - Audio & Breakout Technician
Josh - General Labor (Setup & Strike)
Sully - General Labor (Setup & Strike)

Every one of these individuals played an important role in making GLSVLSI 2026 a success. From the first equipment case unloaded to the final microphone packed away, everyone stepped up with professionalism, dedication, and a willingness to do whatever the event needed.

Conferences like this aren't built by one person. They're built by people who trust one another, support one another, and take pride in doing the job right.

Thank you all for everything you put into this event. I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished together.

P.S. Before anyone asks... yes, Henrik Al'd himself into the team photo. He wasn't scheduled for strike, but he absolutely earned his place in this photo!

Unfortunately, the Al also decided some of us needed different faces, so I'll replace this with the properly Photoshopped version once it's ready. I just couldn't wait because I'm so proud of this team and had time tonight before we head back out to another show tomorrow.

Well, that’s a wrap on an amazing conference!

Day 3 of 3 was truly a pleasure.

We got to finish strong with more panels, more breakout sessions, and more keynotes. What more could an AV guy ask for?

And beyond all of that, we received an honor we’ll never forget. Peipei and the fellow conference chairs presented us with a Certificate of Appreciation for:

“For Exceptional Audio-Visual Support, Technical Excellence, and Human-Centered Service in GLSVLSI 2026.”

To say this was an incredible honor would be an understatement. Peipei and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their dedication, organization, and determination throughout the planning process and the conference itself were truly impressive.

Peipei and team, thank you for trusting us with your conference. We hope our paths cross again the next time you’re in the area.

But one thing I also want to recognize, especially given the scale of this event, is the incredible team we have built over the years.

From setup and ballroom conversions with moving air walls, to multiple breakout sessions, keynote presentations, and strike, everyone stepped up. They worked with professionalism, dedication, and just the right amount of goofy AV spirit to make even a demanding schedule feel seamless.

I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together this week.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this conference such a success, and congratulations to the GLSVLSI 2026 organizers on an outstanding event!
