Today while hiking at Garden of the Gods, I met Yemi, a tour guide from Denver, showing his guests around the park.

He picked up his guitar and started playing and improvising this peaceful little song against one of the most beautiful backdrops in Colorado Springs.

These are the kinds of unexpected moments I love capturing while I’m out hiking. Over the years, I’ve met musicians, visitors, local business owners, and people from all over while walking these trails, often with a little Colorado wildlife mixed in too.

Today also happened to include bighorn sheep. 🐏
