This design celebrates that moment and the man who lived it, rendered in the bold, geometric visual language of Soviet-era graphic art. Radiating light, upward momentum, and the unmistakable confidence of an age that believed the future was theirs to claim — it’s part mission poster, part piece of history, and entirely unforgettable.

Today, humanity looked up and felt something it hasn’t felt in over 50 years — the electric pull of the Moon. NASA’s Artemis II mission launched earlier this evening from Kennedy Space Center, sending astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen on a 10-day journey around the Moon and back.

We were honored to collaborate with the team at Advanced Multi-Mission Operations System (AMMOS) at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory on a series of posters, graphics, and an updated department identity. AMMOS builds the software and mission operations tools used to plan, navigate, and communicate with spacecraft exploring the solar system. Our designs helped translate that work into a cohesive visual language, which was used to refresh the AMMOS department webpage. It was a privilege to contribute to a team helping guide spacecraft across the solar system.
