The metaverse scene in Singapore is heating up with and events around every corner.

Our staff attended Singapore's first Metaverse Festival at Youth Park, Singapore. were airdropped into participants’ wallets. Attendees had the chance to rub shoulders with who's who of the industry, trade NFTs for a free drink, and groove to EDM music tunes.

Even though the industry is another 5 to 10 years away from taking shape, it will be an early-mover’s advantage for those foraging into the industry NOW.

team got together to discuss the scalability trilemma of the bitcoin blockchain, and ways researchers are implementing new protocols on the Layer 1: the base architecture and Layer 2: the communication interface of bitcoin. Some of the proposed solutions amongst the discussion included SegWit protocol, the Lightning Network and the Liquid Network. The World's Most Impactful Fintech festival took place right here in Singapore from Nov 3-5. IWS Fintech participated and made history with them.

From listening Vitalik Buterin speak on Ethereum's merge, to minting your own tokens for a free coffee, Singapore Fintech Festival had some of the biggest names in industry, and was attended by over 10,000 fintech enthusiasts!

IWS visited booths of several emerging start-ups and biggest brands including ConsenSys, Circle, BitGo, DBS and Visa all striding forward to make fintech popular amongst the masses.

Understanding the dynamics of the 35+ blockchain development companies present, IWS got hands-on and plugged into the blockchain industry market tempo.

S.F.F was indeed the biggest, and one of the best events for IWS Fintech in 2022, and we are proud to be part of one of the world's most happening FinTech event.

Web5 is the summation of Web3 and Web2, where users can not only read, write into the system, but also own their data. Web5 intends to establish a platform, where each user has fractional rights to the bigger system, thus incentivising user ownership over everything else.

IWS Fintech attended the region's first at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Singapore.

Dr. Craig Wright, Chief Scient of nChain, and the original contributor of the bitcoin blockchain inaugurated the conference with the opening talk on Web5.

Our team met with the core development team of from L.A, and had a blast enjoying the mini cakes and treats the Grand Copthorne had to offer!
