To further improve the efficiency and quality in the implementation of every project developed by the state agency, Penang Development Corporation (PDC) launched the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Studio, the first in Penang and the Northern Region of Peninsular Malaysia; which IDA Technology is proud to be play a part in.

The launch of the PDC BIM Studio was officiated by YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow in conjunction with the Christmas Celebration Ceremony at the PDC Atrium. In line with the PDC Digitalisation Plan 2023-2028, the state agency had previously introduced BIM which aims to improve efficiency and accuracy in the planning, design, construction and management of buildings and infrastructure. This initiative is a progressive step that will bring Penang forward as a leader in the field of modern and innovative construction at the nation level.

Also present were Social Development, Welfare and Non-Muslim Affairs Exco, Lim Siew Khim; PDC Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Aziz Bakar and PDC officers.

IDA Technology is honoured to be part of Sarawak Gas Roadmap Summit on the 25th November 2024 at Sheraton Kuching Hotel held by Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS). The event was attended by key leaders, including Deputy Premier Sarawak, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Anak Embas, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Director of the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) Dato Georgina Apphia Ngau,and Encik Peter Bryan Morison.

Through the Summit, Sarawak Gas Roadmap and the Kuching Low-Carbon Hub were launched, showcasing Sarawak’s readiness to lead in low-carbon solutions while highlighting vast investment opportunities available. Over 500 delegates, comprising of industry leaders, government agencies, community leaders, and representatives from academia to network, were brought together to share ideas and confront current challenges of energy transition.

And to allow the delegates to be fully immerse in the innovation vision of the Kuching Low-Carbon Hub, a virtual reality booth was set up by IDA Technology in addition to the Gas Road Map Gallery and physical 3D model of the Kuching Low-Carbon Hub.
