π The Future Economy Conference 2026 brought together Singapore's brightest minds across government and business, and we left inspired, energised, and more committed than ever to our mission. π
Deputy Prime Minister Mr Gan Kim Yong set the tone with a powerful keynote on Singapore's economic direction, anchored by the final recommendations of the Economic Strategy Review (ESR). Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance Mr Jeffrey Siow led a compelling Ministerial Dialogue unpacking the eight strategic thrusts that will shape how Singapore businesses grow, compete, and lead on the world stage.
As a homegrown cybersecurity SME in the room, these were not just policy announcements. They were a call to action. Our key management members, Henry Tan and Victor Lim, had the privilege of sharing softScheck's journey navigating AI disruption, scaling with an AI-first mindset, and building services that matter beyond our shores. And the response from our national leaders was something we will carry with us.
Senior Minister of State Ms Low Yen Ling and Minister of State Mr Desmond Choo encouraged our work in engaging youth and nurturing the next generation of tech talent.
Minister of State Mr Alvin Tan lit a fire under our ASEAN ambitions, affirming that Singapore's standards, trust, and capabilities are exactly what the region needs more of.
Senior Minister of State Dr Koh Poh Koon resonated deeply with our conviction on AI augmentation. The future belongs to those who commit to learning, upskilling, and adapting without pause.
π At softScheck APAC, contributing to Singapore's national and CII cybersecurity efforts is at the heart of everything we do. From helping enterprises strengthen their security posture to raising cybersecurity maturity across organisations, we believe a secure digital Singapore is something we must build together. Events like FEC 2026 remind us of the collective responsibility we share and the urgency with which we must act.
To the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), thank you for building a stage where government and business can meet, think, and move forward together. The conversations and connections over these two days have been truly invaluable.
We look forward to continuing this journey alongside Singapore's leaders, enterprises, and community. And we are just getting started. ππͺ
