Once a niche field, cybersecurity is now essential as organisations face sophisticated threats such as data breaches, phishing, and ransomware.

In Singapore, the cybersecurity workforce has grown to 10,000 professionals in 2024, with an additional 2,800–4,400 roles projected by 2026. From late 2024 to early 2025, nearly 600 companies posted cybersecurity job openings, highlighting strong ongoing demand.
