109 reviews, 4.8 stars, all written by candidates who had just been interviewed. Here's what they consistently tell us:

Candidates appreciate being able to answer in their own words, in their preferred language, and at a time that suits them. They value the structured format, knowing everyone is asked the same questions, and they appreciate receiving timely feedback instead of being left wondering.

A great candidate experience isn't a by-product of good hiring, it's a design choice.

That's why Hubert is built candidate-first, creating a screening experience that candidates consistently rate 9/10!

Nearly 200 stores with 5,500+ employees and up to 700 applications per role.

Coop Östra's store managers were spending their time screening CVs instead of running stores. With structured AI interviews, screening now takes under 1.5 hours per candidate, and the results followed: EUR 250,000 saved in recruitment costs and a 9/10 candidate satisfaction score.

We’ve got plenty of applicants… but hardly any qualified candidates. Sound familiar?

That is the reality for most UK recruitment teams right now. Eploy's latest UK Candidate Attraction Report puts a number on it: 52% of in-house recruiters say their single biggest challenge is finding candidates who are actually qualified.

Charlotte Clarke from Eploy and Greg Dunbar are running a session on it this Wednesday. They will look at why the applicant pool has changed, and what teams are doing to lift quality at the top of the funnel without adding hours of screening.

Can we trust AI to hire?

That's exactly what our CCO, Greg Dunbar, will be discussing at an In-house Recruitment Live London panel alongside Maxine Roberts (PGL Adventures), Viscount Camrose (UK Parliament & Better Hiring Institute) and Joe Shahmoradian (Morningstar).

From transparency and accountability to building trust in AI-driven hiring, the panel will explore how TA teams can navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI with confidence.

Catch them on the headline stage at 12.30–13.15 on September 22.

What if screening didn’t slow your team down?

TA teams using Hubert spend significantly less time on manual screening while ensuring a smooth process where candidates stay engaged.

Here’s what the data shows ↓

"Human in the loop" doesn't mean much if the loop is 2 seconds per candidate.

Most AI hiring tools create the appearance of oversight, not the substance of it. You click through, the decision was already made, and the cognitive load lands back on your recruiter the moment you try to do it properly.

That's not efficiency... that's just liability wearing a dashboard.

The question isn't whether AI should help you hire. It's whether the AI you're using actually gives your team the tools to stay in control.

Today is International Intern Day, so a question for anyone hiring one:
What are you actually screening?

An intern's CV is close to empty by definition. No track record, no job titles and no measurable results. So what fills the gap? School name, a parent's contact or a previous internship that was itself handed out on the same basis.

Skills-based screening flips this. It gives every applicant the same structured questions, score the answers, and let the ones who can do the work show you.

Talent over privilege. Interns are where that starts. How is your team screening early-career applicants this year?

The UK hiring landscape is changing fast. According to Eploy's 2026 UK Candidate Attraction Report, three challenges are defining recruitment today:

→ A structural shortage of qualified candidates
→ A new wave of AI-generated applications
→ Candidate experiences that aren't keeping pace with intent

Rather than trying to solve everything in one webinar, we're breaking these into a practical three-part series. Each 20-minute session takes a closer look at one challenge, what's driving it, and the workflows leading employers are using to respond.

Join us for the first session on August 12 and discover practical strategies you can apply straight away.

The EU AI Act isn't a compliance burden, it's the bar.

Explainability, human oversight, auditability, candidate-first design. These aren't restrictions on innovation, they're the principles that should define how AI in hiring gets built.

Hubert has been building above that bar from day one.

You're not screening candidates anymore. You're screening ChatGPT.

Here's our CEO, Fredrik Östgren, on why CV screening is broken and what actually predicts who will succeed in the role.
