Mapping Seasonal Biomass Potential in Sheikhupura, Pakistan
A seasonal biomass potential assessment for Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan, developed using Google Earth Engine (GEE) to visualize spatial and temporal variations in vegetation biomass potential across key agricultural periods.
The mapping represents three important stages of the crop cycle:
• December – Sowing Period
• February – Peak Period
• May – Harvesting Period
By integrating satellite-based Earth observation with geospatial analysis, the workflow helps visualize seasonal vegetation dynamics and provides spatial insights that can support agricultural monitoring, biomass assessment, renewable-resource planning, and land management.
Tools & Methodology:
Google Earth Engine (GEE) • Satellite Remote Sensing • Seasonal Vegetation Analysis • GIS Mapping • Spatial Visualization
