Tech Update 2026 — "GRP Reimagined: AI in Action"
We recently marked a defining moment in our journey alongside Malaysia's public sector. The session opened with a warm welcome address by Mohd Faiz Bin Alias, CEO of Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, who set the tone for the day ushering attendees into "The Intelligent Era" and reaffirming Century Software's commitment to building AI that is practical, trustworthy, and built for real public sector impact.
For decades, Century Software has stood with government agencies through every phase of digital transformation. We're now stepping into a new era one where AI moves beyond answering questions to actively driving outcomes.
At this year's showcase, we unveiled a suite of ready-to-deploy capabilities purpose-built for public sector operations:
AP Document Recognition — turning accounts payable paperwork into actionable data
Anomaly Detection — surfacing financial risks before they escalate
AI Assistant — an interactive guide built into GRP
Automated Financial Statement (AFS) & Monthly Board Report (MBR) — from ledger to board-ready decks, automatically
RoboRecon — our AI bank reconciliation agent: auditable, explainable, trustworthy
eClaims — mobile-first, OCR-enabled, and built to support 25+ specialised claim modules
These innovations form the foundation of GRP 2026 R1, our next major release arriving 25 June 2026 bringing together our AI suite with a refreshed platform experience:
AI Assistant — intelligent in-system guidance
AP Document Recognition — automated invoice and document capture
Anomaly Detection — proactive risk and exception monitoring
New Dashboard Interface — clearer insights at a glance
Modern UI — a cleaner, more intuitive user experience
Enhanced Generic Inquiry — faster, more flexible data exploration
File Attachment Tags — better document organisation and traceability
The session closed with an open Q&A floor, where we invited our clients and partners to share their thoughts, raise questions, and exchange perspectives directly with our product and technology leaders. The discussion was rich, candid, and a powerful reminder that the best innovations are shaped through real conversations with the people who use them every day.
A heartfelt thank you to the leaders from statutory bodies, local authorities, Islamic councils and GLCs who joined us. Your continued trust and your willingness to engage, challenge, and collaborate pushes us to build technology that is not only advanced, but genuinely usable, fully auditable, and meaningfully impactful.
The future of public sector operations is intelligent, efficient, and human-centred and we're proud to be building it together with you.
