वनोपज संग्राहकों के लिए डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण की पहल

जंगलों और दूरस्थ इलाकों में आजीविका से जुड़े समुदायों के लिए यह एक सराहनीय कदम है। छत्तीसगढ़ में शुरू किया गया IVRS आधारित सिस्टम संग्राहकों को उनकी स्थानीय भाषा में सीधे जानकारी उपलब्ध कराएगा। इससे बाजार भाव, सतत संग्रहण और सरकारी योजनाओं की सही जानकारी मिल सकेगी, जिससे उनकी आय और निर्णय क्षमता दोनों मजबूत होंगी।

ऐसी शुरुआत तकनीक को जमीनी स्तर तक पहुंचाकर वास्तविक बदलाव लाने का काम करती हैं और अन्य राज्यों के लिए भी एक अच्छा मॉडल बन सकती हैं।

Klarna’s newly launched AI for Climate Resilience Program is a powerful step toward empowering community-based innovators who are using AI to address real climate challenges — from disaster readiness and groundwater monitoring to ecosystem protection and early warning systems. The first cohort is already showing how technology, when combined with local knowledge, can deliver scalable and long-term impact.

Congratulations to the first grantees: SEEDS, Acres of Ice, Geotek Water, Yayasan Saka Warga Indonesia, GainForest.Earth, and the SEWA/IFPRI/Gram Vaani collaboration. Wishing them success as they work toward building safer and more resilient communities across the world.

Rural livelihood issues continue to demand urgent attention-especially as traditional income sources, such as agriculture, have seen a significant decline. Rural enterprises, despite their potential, often face multiple challenges: accessing financial services, connecting with skilling agencies, establishing reliable market linkages for raw material procurement and sales, and navigating relevant government schemes.

To address these systemic barriers, the Work4Progress program-led by Development Alternatives and supported by the La Caixa Foundation-has been working to co-create innovative solutions. As part of this effort, Gram Vaani has facilitated the District Entrepreneurs Coalition (DEC), a systemic prototype designed to bring all key stakeholders together and bridge critical gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

On 30th October 2025, Gram Vaani successfully convened the District Entrepreneurs Coalition (DEC) at the Block Development Office Meeting Hall in Balrampur. The event brought together government departments, financial institutions, market actors, and grassroots organizations to collectively strengthen pathways for women’s entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and sustainable rural livelihoods.

The coalition focused on:

Increasing women’s participation in entrepreneurship
Promoting opportunities in non-traditional and green enterprises
Building stronger coordination between government departments and financial institutions
Enhancing awareness and access to livelihood-related schemes
Identifying and addressing challenges faced by rural entrepreneurs
Key representatives from RSETI, NRLM, Khadi Gramodyog, PMKVY, Axis Bank, UPSRLM, and various local institutions shared insights and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting women-led and community-led enterprises in the district.

The event served as a collaborative platform for dialogue, problem-solving, and joint planning-strengthening the shared mission of building an inclusive, supportive, and resilient entrepreneurship ecosystem in Balrampur.

Gram Vaani extends its sincere gratitude to all partners and participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions.
