According to an article published in The Guardian, AI-assisted development tools were involved in two AWS service disruptions in 2025.

In one case, an AI agent deleted and recreated part of a production environment, contributing to a 13-hour disruption. AWS attributed the incidents to user errors and misconfigured access controls rather than to the AI tools themselves. Even so, additional safeguards were introduced, including mandatory peer reviews.

The data is available. But is it truly accessible?

An enterprise data marketplace can hold vast amounts of information – yet business users may still need reports, developers, or in-depth knowledge of the data structure to get an answer to a simple business question.
Often, the problem isn’t the data. It’s the language.

A business expert asks about net positions, maturity structures, or exposure. The database, however, “thinks” in tables and columns.

In a joint PoC with MOL Group, we set out to bridge this gap using SAP generative AI technologies.

The resulting text-to-report solution turns natural-language business questions into relevant data and reports. Using a knowledge graph, the language model receives only the context needed to answer the specific question.
We don’t give AI more information. We give it more precise information.

How does this work in practice?

On Monday at SAP NOW Hungary, Viktor Lazar, AI Solutions Domain Lead at SWICON, will present the project developed together with MOL and share what we learned on the journey from AI hype to real business value.

A digitalizáció önmagában még nem jelent termelékenységet. 💡

Az AI és a technológiai megoldások fejlődésével a legtöbb vállalat számára már nem az a kérdés, hogy érdemes-e foglalkozni velük, hanem az, hogy hogyan lesz a technológiai lehetőségből mérhető üzleti eredmény.

Többek között erről is beszélgettek a Swicon Zrt. alapítójával és COO-jával, Petricsek Ildikóval a BÉT50 Klub „Digitalizációból termelékenység: AI, automatizáció és adat a középvállalatokban” című rendezvényének kerekasztalán.

Egy digitalizációs projekt értékét végső soron nem az mutatja meg, milyen új technológiát vezettünk be, hanem az, hogy mit változtatott a működésben.

A technológia önmagában még nem jelent transzformációt. Az eredmény ott kezdődik, amikor mérhetően jobbá teszi a működést.
