At APPtechnology, we see it time and again, mergers moves fast, and the application estate rarely comes with a clean map. Hidden systems, unclear ownership, stakeholders pulling in different directions... sound familiar?

That's exactly why we're running a free webinar on 29th July at 11am:
Mergers & Acquisitions: Accelerating Application Discovery and Transition Planning

We'll be sharing how we help organisations:
- Spot problem applications before they derail a migration
- Understand project scope and risk in days, not weeks
- Align stakeholders around real usage data, not guesswork
- Build transition plans around what's actually business-critical

If you're navigating (or about to navigate) an M&A integration, come along and join us with ManagmentStudio we'd love to help you go in with more confidence and less firefighting.

I didn't like BYOD when it first showed up.

My instinct was to lock it down — mandate corporate hardware, control every endpoint. That lasted until I realised the people ignoring the policy were often our best people. They weren't trying to create risk, they just wanted to use the device that worked for them.

So the question changed: not 'how do we stop this' but 'how do we make it secure enough that it doesn't keep us up at night.'

BYOD is here to stay. How do we make it secure enough that it doesn't keep us up at night?

Zero Trust is now table stakes.

But most organisations still have a handful of systems it can't really protect — the legacy app from 2003, the SCADA platform with no vendor support, the line-of-business tool nobody dares touch.

They run on local admin because that's the only way they work. They can't join your identity provider. They sit in a kind of security no-man's land.

There's a different approach for these: securing the application itself, not the network path to it.

application-level isolation is the next step for organisations that have done the Zero Trust groundwork but still have uncomfortable gaps.
