Safety information that gets lost in translation isn't really safety information.

For Companies, being able to get the right information into the hands of multilingual crews across multiple states was crucial.

Here’s how they do it: ↓

When a worker first scans the QR code on-site (pictured), Breadcrumb automatically detects their phone's browser language. A Spanish-speaking worker is directed in Spanish through their entire orientation across profile setup, safety videos, site-specific PPE requirements - all of it.

In the words of Flint Thomas, Site Safety & Health Officer at Tepa:
“Breadcrumb makes it much easier to make sure everyone is getting the same information and understanding what is expected of them. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of communicating with a multilingual workforce and helps us keep our safety message consistent across every project.”

Since March, more than half of Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc.'s workforce completed their safety orientation in Spanish. That’s 849 out of 1,539 digital orientations, across 19 active jobsites in Virginia, USA. 🇺🇸

That is an incredible achievement, and proof of how determined Justin, Shockey’s Safety Manager, and his team have been throughout this implementation process making sure all 94 subcontractors companies could complete onboarding in their own language!

In his words:
“Breadcrumb has become an integral part of our field tracking and compliance system. It creates the link between Procore project data and subcontractor field tracking.”

GCs on Autodesk Forma can now capture trade partner safety documentation before they arrive and while they're in the field, extending Autodesk's powerful connected workflows with sharper jobsite visibility.

Breadcrumb's new Forma Build integration means site-specific safety plans, JHAs, orientations, PTPs and permits flow straight into Autodesk Forma, and real-time manpower counts push directly into Forma Build forms. No manual entry or duplicate work.

Cleveland Construction, Inc. has adopted Breadcrumb to engage the workforce on-site. As Elliot Christiansen, Sr. VP of Construction, put it:

"Our ability to have real-time manpower counts uploaded directly into our daily job reports without our guys having to go find them is pretty powerful."

In July, our US team traveled to 5 different states. 🇺🇸

Between jobsite visits and conferences, the conversations we've had with safety managers and GCs keep circling around the same thing:

The safety processes are happening on site, but the visibility is missing.
Client auditors, OSHA inspections, and ownership groups are asking to see proof that orientations, JHAs, PTPs, permits, and other site safety documents are completed across every project.

The pressure on GCs is real, and the current answer for most teams (using binders, spreadsheets and tools that don't connect) isn’t sufficient for the standards expected on complex projects.

Those are the demands Breadcrumb was built to solve. And the more time we spend on the ground across the US, the more we know we're working on the right problem. 💪🏼

Our first project with California-based INCORAGE GENERAL CONTRACTORS is live!

The New Beginning Housing Project in San Mateo is building tiny modular homes to give young adults aging out of foster care a safe place to land.

Derrick Chappel , Project Manager at INCORAGE, knew there had to be a better way to get their multilingual crew checked-in without language barriers, something easier to manage than their traditional paper sign-ins.

Spencer Casarez, our customer success manager, visited them last week to run a Breadcrumb training with the site team.

Now, every worker on site can check-in digitally in their native language. Safety documentation is captured at the point of work, keeping everything organized, traceable, and easy to manage.

WIELAND’s Safety Manager’s were spending 30-40% of their day on paperwork. Not walking the jobsite. Paperwork.

Scott Mason, Safety Director at WIELAND, knew something had to change.

When WIELAND invests in having a Safety Manager on site and that Safety Manager is not able to walk the site because they’re shuffling paperwork – it’s kind of like why? We need a better solution.

Using Breadcrumb, orientations and JSAs went digital. The Trade Partners on the ground now experience quicker mornings with far less admin, so they can get on the tools faster.

Our first project with Reeder General Contractors, Inc. is live!

Renee and Cody from our US team visited the Colony High School jobsite in person this past week, the first REEDER site to implement Breadcrumb.

Alex Ahmann, the Superintendent on the project, commented on how much smoother the morning workflow has become.

Today they're live on Breadcrumb across 5 sites, with every member of their team fully onboarded and operational.

And they're already seeing results:
• Subcontractors arriving with RAMS already submitted.
• Site teams with real-time visibility of who's on site and what's outstanding.
• Every induction, permit, and compliance record captured digitally with an auditable trail.

Implementing a new software is never a small ask, but Compliance Manager Adam Wilson championed the project internally from day one. Here's what he had to say about it:
