Ditching the basic ISP box for a TP-Link Omada gateway 🔥

Here’s why standard ISP routers fall short:

• Basic Equipment: ISP gear is built to meet a baseline, not to match your actual house.

Real Control & Security: Proper firewall rules, VLAN isolation (keep smart home tech on its own network), and actual traffic management.

Solid Stability: Built to handle high device counts without dropping out or needing random reboots.

Standard ISP gear could never. 📶⚡

Today we configured AI powered video analytics alongside RE:SURE's professional remote CCTV monitoring service with two new Hik cameras to cover the blind spots 😎

By combining detection with monitoring operators, CCTV can do more than record an incident. It can help identify suspicious activity and enable intervention before any damage is done 💪

Another smart heating job ticked off today. We’re fitting so many of these lately, and it’s no surprise with winter setting in.

Half the time, it’s not even about saving a few quid on gas, it’s just pure convenience.
No one wants to fight with a ancient wall timer or sit in a cold room waiting for the radiators to kick in. Being able to boost the heat from the sofa, tweak schedules on the fly, and actually see what the system is doing just makes life a whole lot easier.

Another customer sorted and ready for the winter cold ❄️🔥

Just put the finishing touches on this home setup 👌

We added a TP-Link access point to even out the coverage and separated all the smart heating gear onto its own isolated network.

Smart stuff stays separate: The TRVs and plugs get their own dedicated lane, keeping the main network clean and secure.

Better reach: Adding the AP balances out the signal nicely without overcomplicating things.

No more dropouts: Heating controls actually stay connected and react straight away when you need them.

All this makes a huge difference! The main Wi-Fi stays fast for the customer while the heating just works quietly in the background 🚀
