Here are 5 essential steps to stay protected:

1️⃣ Use strong passwords and a password manager. Create unique, complex passwords for every account and store them securely.

2️⃣ Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA). Add an extra layer of protection to your important personal and work accounts.

3️⃣ Pause and verify. Check before clicking links, opening attachments, or responding to urgent requests, even when the sender seems familiar.

4️⃣ Keep software updated. Update your operating systems, apps, and devices to protect against known security vulnerabilities.

5️⃣ Protect essential systems with the 3Rs. Reduce potential entry points by removing unused apps and disabling unnecessary access. Replace devices that no longer receive security updates. Plan for quick recovery with backups and clear recovery steps.

Small actions today can help prevent bigger problems tomorrow.
