Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge - CCSC

Από τις 12 έως τις 16 Οκτωβρίου 2026, η Εθνική Ομάδα Κυβερνοασφάλειας της Κύπρου εκπροσώπησε τη χώρα μας στον Ευρωπαϊκό Διαγωνισμό Κυβερνοασφάλειας (ECSC) 2026 στο Μπόχουμ της Γερμανίας.

Ανταγωνιζόμενη περισσότερους από 400 κορυφαίους ειδικούς στον τομέα της κυβερνοασφάλειας από 42 χώρες (35 ευρωπαϊκές χώρες και 7 προσκεκλημένες χώρες), η Ομάδα της Κύπρου έθεσε τις ικανότητές της υπό δοκιμασία σε εντατικές προκλήσεις τύπου Jeopardy και Attack-Defense Capture the Flag (CTF) και κατέλαβε την 24η θέση στην τελική κατάταξη. Η συμμετοχή της αναδεικνύει το τοπικό ταλέντο στον τομέα της κυβερνοασφάλειας στη διεθνή σκηνή.

Η ομάδα υποστηρίζεται υπό την καθοδήγηση του Cyprus Computer Society και εκπαιδεύεται από την Ομάδα Κυβερνοασφάλειας CyberMouflons. Η πρωτοβουλία πραγματοποιήθηκε υπό την αιγίδα του του Γραφείο Επιτρόπου Επικοινωνιών μέσω της Αρχής Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας, του Υπουργείο Άμυνας Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας - Ministry of Defence Cyprus και της Αστυνομία Κύπρου, με την έγκριση του Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Αθλητισμού και Νεολαίας.

During the first day of ECSC the teams attempted to solve Jeopardy CTF challenges!

Team Cyprus holds the middle of the score board currently ranked 21 out of 42 countries! (https://scoreboard.ecsc2026.de/ )

Wednesday has a bit more relaxed schedule since tomorrow is the Attack and Defence CTF challenges!

Day 1 of ECSC is ON: Team Cyprus enters the arena at ECSC 2026!

Yesterday evening, October 12th, Team Cyprus officially kicked off its journey at the European Cyber Security Challenge 2026 in Bochum, Germany, during the official Opening Ceremony at the RuhrCongress Bochum Great Hall. Our team took the stage alongside more than 400 top cyber talents representing 42 participating countries.

What’s happening today (13 October): Today marks the start of the heavy action with the Jeopardy CTF round, running for 12 continuous hours from 10:00 to 22:00. Our 10 competitors will be putting their skills to the test across web security, cryptography, reverse engineering, and software and hardware vulnerability exploitation.

Το Σάββατο 24 Οκτωβρίου το Cyprus Computer Society και το Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge - CCSC συμμετέχουν στο Cybersecurity for ALL Festival 2026 που διοργανώνει το Γραφείο Επιτρόπου Επικοινωνιών μεσω της Αρχής Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας και του Εθνικό Κέντρο Συντονισμού Κυβερνοασφάλειας Κύπρου - ΝCCcy.

Σας περιμένουμε να μάθουμε, να παίξουμε και να συνειδητοποιήσουμε τη σημασία της ψηφιακής ασφάλειας και της υπεύθυνης ψηφιακής συμπεριφοράς.

Η Εθνική Ομάδα Κυβερνοασφάλειας της Κύπρου, η οποία αναδείχθηκε μέσα από το Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge - CCSC, θα εκπροσωπήσει τη χώρα μας στο European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) 2026, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Bochum της Γερμανίας, από 12 έως 16 Οκτωβρίου 2026.

Οι δέκα νέοι που θα εκπροσωπήσουν την Κύπρο είναι οι Μάριος Καϊλής (αρχηγός), Χρίστος Φαλάς, Ιωσήφ Μοδέστου, Χριστόδουλος Σωτηρίου, Στυλιανός Αναστασίου, Αλέξανδρος Πουλλάς, Γιώργος Βουτούρη, Γιώργος Μαυρονικόλας, Στέλιος Στυλιανού και Ευάγγελος Λιουδάκης.
