We are looking for a IT - Computers - Telecommunications Technician to join our Team.

𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨:

A Telecommunications Engineer duties include planning, designing, commissioning and monitoring telecommunication equipment, facilities and associated equipment such as complex electronic switching systems, telephone facilities, video conferencing links and fiber optics. He/she installs and maintains relevant systems and networks. He/she is working closely with clients, discussing solutions like Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) to help them manage, monitor and track calls. He/she works in cooperation with third parties for the installation and programming of such solutions (CTI). He/she handles disruptions of service and come up with solutions to deal with problems as they may arise.

𝙉𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙:

• Degree or Experience as Telecommunications Technician or relevant field
• Excellent diagnostic and methodical problem solving skills
• In depth understanding of diverse voice and data networks
• Any relevant certification is considered an advantage
• Driver’s license
• Reliability and discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.

A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

Requirements
• Experience as IT Technician or relevant position preferred but not necessary
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field preferred

Responsibilities:
• Establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment.
• Plans network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools; assessing installation site; and preparing an installation diagram.
• Establishes voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression systems; building ironwork and ladder racks; establishing connections; programming features; establishing connections and integrations; following industry standards; activating remote access tools; and coordinating with contractors.
• Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables and recording configuration diagrams and specifications.

Requirements
• Experience as Telecommunications Technician or relevant position preferred but not necessary
