How useful is a GDPR toolkit written for youth workers rather than for lawyers? We asked the people who use it, and 333 of them answered, from 15 countries across Europe.
- 95% rate the PROTECT materials 4 or 5 out of 5 for usefulness, clarity and relevance.
- 86% already use them in their work or plan to, and 97% would recommend them to a colleague.
The templates, the guidance for Erasmus+ projects, the information for young people and the training material were all rated as useful by four in ten respondents each, which tells us the package works as a whole.
Thank you to every youth organisation, NGO, school, trainer and public body that took ten minutes to answer. Many thanks to the partners of the project as well: Navissos, Hellas for Us, Atlas International, Connecting Dots.
Your requests for more language versions and short video tutorials are already on our list for the next phase.
All the materials are free to download at https://protect.mind-spin.com/. Co-funded by the European Union.
PROTECT aims to help youth organisations handle personal data with confidence, through a plain-language GDPR toolkit with ready-to-use templates, training for trainers and local workshops for young people. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
