Some of the best conversations in our industry happen when we step away from our desks and spend time together.

Last month, we welcomed ticketing, marketing, and live entertainment professionals from across New York for The Audience Collective: NYC at the Museum of Broadway. What began as a panel discussion quickly turned into an evening of honest insights, new connections, and meaningful conversations about the future of audience growth.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to our outstanding panelists Sammy Lopez, Ryan Bogner, Lauren Fitzgerald, and Mo Brady for sharing their perspectives, to Mionetto Prosecco for sponsoring the reception, and to The Museum of Broadway for hosting us in such an iconic setting.

A few ideas that sparked conversation throughout the night:
✨ Authentic, behind-the-scenes content often outperforms polished campaigns
✨ Email continues to be one of the most effective audience-building tools available
✨ Discovery is increasingly driven by communities, conversations, and trusted recommendations
✨ The strongest marketing strategies start with a deep understanding of your audience

Above all, the evening reinforced something we already knew: great ideas emerge when passionate people come together to share experiences and learn from one another.

We're already looking ahead to future Audience Collective gatherings and can't wait to continue the conversation.

We recently hosted an AVConnect Learning Lab for clients in the Twin Cities, where we spent the morning digging into Business Intelligence, reporting needs, and how event organizations can turn data into action.

From identifying the metrics that matter most to uncovering opportunities hidden in reporting, attendees shared challenges, ideas, and real-world approaches they're using at their organizations. The peer-to-peer learning and open discussion are what make these sessions so valuable.

A huge thank you to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts for generously hosting us and helping bring community together. It's always inspiring to see how much live event organizations can learn from one another.

We look forward to continuing discussions like this at future AVConnect events!

After spending time with arts leaders at Southwest this spring, one thing was clear: organizations across Arizona are finding creative ways to deepen audience relationships, grow attendance, and strengthen their communities.

We're excited to continue those conversations at the Arizona Presenters Alliance Conference in Sedona, August 11-13, where AudienceView is proud to support the event as a sponsor.

A special shoutout to our client Scottsdale Arts, this year's conference sponsor. We're looking forward to connecting with presenters, venues, and arts organizations from across the region.

If you're attending, be sure to say hello to Tony Jilek from the AudienceView team.

See you in Sedona. 🌵
