Everything slows down after dinner? You're not imagining it.

Between 6pm and 11pm the whole neighbourhood is online at once, and that's when the complaints start. Most evening slowdowns come down to four things, and three of them you can sort out tonight.

Where your router sits. Tucked in a cupboard, behind the TV, or down in the basement means you lose signal through every wall it has to pass through. Out in the open, up high, and central to the house is what you want.

How many devices are on. Two phones, a tablet, a smart TV, a gaming console, a couple of laptops and a doorbell camera all pulling at once adds up quickly. Older plans were never sized for that.
