→ Keep working through Wi-Fi dead zones with offline mode that caches picks, receipts, and counts, then syncs when the connection returns.

→ Scan plain text as fast as barcodes on supported devices, so bins and incoming lot numbers that arrive without a barcode still work.

If you are using an existing point of sale solution integrated into Business Central and facing challenges reconciling those transactions back to the ledger, Counter Sales was built for exactly that.

→ Take counter and trade-desk payments natively in Business Central, so every sale posts straight to the ledger with no external POS to reconcile.

→ Accept card-present, phone, and saved-card payments, and split a single order across cash, card, and other methods.

→ Set up payment networks per store or register, with balancing accounts kept separate by location.

→ Reconcile the cash drawer at day's end and post any differences straight to the general ledger.

→ Reprint any posted receipt straight from the customer's ledger entry.

Mark is walking through the report scenario selection in Counter Sales, where you configure which documents print automatically based on the transaction type.

Cash sale, account customer, packing slip to the warehouse. No user intervention once it is set up.

→ You control what prints and when. A cash sale prints the receipt automatically. A customer on account gets invoiced. A packing slip goes to the warehouse printer. No extra steps.

→ If a customer wants a discount, you enter the reason code and the system tells you exactly what it will do to your margin before you accept it. If you do not have permission to change pricing, a manager override code keeps it controlled.
