Uryelle Lopez is a portrait photographer and graphic designer based in Edmonton, Alberta. While working towards her Bachelor of Design degree in Visual Communications Design, Uryelle got her first taste of photography in black and white film. It wasn’t long until she moved on to digital studio photography and upon graduating in 2010, started her own freelance company specializing in portraiture in
cluding model development, fashion editorial and corporate/commercial photography. By combining her love of fashion, art and culture with a continuous desire to improve her technical skills in the art form, Uryelle's work spans ten years in the industry and as a result has developed a signature look that is bold, thoughtful and polished. With many influences and through intensive research, her portfolio has developed to encompass a diverse variety of styles from soft and delicate to dark and moody, both in the studio and on location. This, combined with her formal education as a graphic designer and professional experience as a marketer, has afforded a unique skill set that is valuable to clients and colleagues alike. Having collaborated with countless freelance professionals and local businesses including Field Law, Government of Alberta, and the University of Alberta to name a few, Uryelle is hard at work building relationships and establishing herself in the creative and fashion industry.
