After 17 years as an engineer in corporate high tech, Robin found her passion and studied photography in London, England. Her vision was to spread smiles and positive energy, and to bring families and teams together through an enjoyable, comforta

ble, and fun portrait and photography experience. Unposed expanded to an experienced team of photographers and editors and has now been operating for over 15 years in the Ottawa area. Unposed has had the pleasure of photographing heartfelt family moments, inspiring business professionals, exciting corporate events, incredible Bar Mitzvahs, and countless fits of laughter. The Unposed team is grateful to have been recognized with numerous awards and nominations including winning small business of the year for West Ottawa. They are also honoured to have been selected for unique photography opportunities across Canada and beyond including the 2017 Junos. Unposed provides family, business, corporate event, and Bar Mitzvah photography for Ottawa and the surrounding area. Our studio is located in Carleton Place, Ontario, only 35 minutes from downtown Ottawa.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

A huge happy day to my own dad, Tim Andrew, a man I admire greatly for so many reasons: his successful career, his love of family, and (of course) his brilliant wit. No one can compose a humorous song on the fly quite like my dad. Thank you dad also for you willingness to pose for fun Unposed photos — I thought I'd be kind and post a nice family photo, rather than the Santa photo today. 😉

Our unposed anniversary event is now at capacity but we’d still love to have you join us for the giant pillow fight! Just come to the front lawn of the studio at 6:30pm this Wednesday, June 17th. Please bring a pillow or cushion without metal zippers.

Memories of 2023

2023 was tough. After losing Paul at the end of 2022, grief hit hard. But the families, kids, teams and individuals who walked through the studio door brought so much to me. There was joy, play, energy, laughter and smiles. I was so blessed to be surrounded by positivity and love.

Memories of 2022

A tribute to Paul who did so much for Unposed, from brainstorming business ideas, lugging gear, posing for ad campaigns, throwing pillows, repairing gear, and developing back-up systems. He brought so much joy to me, to the team, and to clients. Forever missed and loved.
