🐧 Angry Penguin’s Monday Tech Tip #6
💻 Replace Aging Hardware
That five-year-old computer might still be working, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s still doing its job well.
Older computers can become:
• 🐌 Slower and less productive
• 🔧 More likely to need repairs
• 🔒 Harder to keep secure and supported
• 💰 More expensive to maintain than they’re worth
Five years isn't a magic replacement date. Instead, take a look at the age, performance, reliability, support status, and cost of maintaining your equipment.
If a computer is constantly slowing someone down, causing problems, or can no longer run the software your business needs, it may be time for an upgrade.
Sometimes the cheapest computer is the one you already own. Sometimes it’s the one you replace before it becomes a problem.
